Now that Typepad is back to fully functioning, I can resume posting! Alas, immersed in the pre-Christmas working/wrapping/buying frenzy, I can't promise anything profound. To be true, I can never promise anything profound, but I predict an especially un-profound week (it's reverse psychology).
At any rate, it has come to my attention that many e-mails I send to people, apparently because of my hotmail.com address, end up in your junk folders. This makes me very sad, as I answer every e-mail I receive, and it would make me sad to think that I have snubbed you because my e-mail ended up in your junk folder. So this has prompted me to do something I knew I should have done when I started this site: get my very own e-mail account. So, from now on, my e-mail address will be lisaatrestaurantwidowdotcom. Hopefully everyone will be able to receive my e-mails in their inboxes now.
