All of our cats have chosen us; from the moment Abe stuck a paw through his cage at Forgotten 4-paws to bat Husband's nose, we knew he and Ike would be coming home with us. We had wanted a kitten, but instead we got 26 pounds of black and white love.
When we finally had a house, we decided it was time for another cat and it was back to 4-paws for
Grover Jay, and that was going to be it for awhile.
Until last weekend. I had previously written about the little ball of fluff who showed up, and then she was gone for awhile, causing Husband to think I had Photo-shopped her into the picture, but then he was innocently sitting around at home when he heard a racket coming from the back door. This is where we feed the outdoor kitties, and where our boys like to watch them. Precariously perched on the window frame was this: (sorry about the picture quality, it was night)
It might be hard to tell, but she is about 5 feet off the porch, with no launch point. Here's one of Ike checking her out:
When I returned home from work a few hours later, she was at it again. Who could resist that request?
And that, folks, is how we became crazy cat people. That is how it came to be that I will now have to buy cat litter by the pallet. All pictures for this Week's Weekend Cat Blogging were taken by Husband. Thanks babe!!
As always, check out Eat Stuff for the rest of our purring friends.
