Pick Your Own Update

Well, instead of driving out to Jacquemin farms, they came to me.  Or, at least, to the Pearl Alley Farmer's Market.  I bought 2 quarts of their delicious strawberries.  If I can figure out a system for effective freezing, (sheet trays don't fit in my freezer) I will buy a whole flat at the market on Friday.  I was informed they should have peas in about a week or so - the weeks of rain we had prevented them from planting as early as normal, and they are flowering now.  So, we can look forward to lots of peas soon!
