So, you know those Google ads on my website? Well, I have frequently debated taking them off; however, they won't cash you out until you have accumulated $100. Well, after more hits then I care to share, I have finally received my check for $101. Since you, my lovely and smart readers, earned me the money, I thought I would let you choose the restaurant where Google is going to buy me dinner for review. My first thought is to go somewhere I am otherwise unlikely to go - such as M. Nothing against M, it's just that I don't particularly care for Cameron Mitchel Restaurants, and M is a little on the pricey side.
Here are my guidelines, because rules are fun:
- I can't have already reviewed it. However, if I have previously reviewed something poorly and you wholeheartedly disagree with my review, I will consider a revisit.
- I would prefer a "nice" restaurant, where $100 will be me a nice dinner. I assume I will go over the limit with wine and tip.
- If you are going to recommend a chain restaurant or a steakhouse, you'd better have a good reason for it.
- If I have to drive to a suburb, you'd better have a good reason for it.
- I would love to have your recommendations on a dish I should try, cocktail I should drink, wine you like there, etc.
- Please let me know why you like said restaurant, obviously.
- Unless you are including plane tickets, it has to be within the "Greater Columbus area."
Hm, I wanted more rules but I can't think of any. Guess I'd make a bad teacher, after all. I will take all suggestions and make my decisious based upon your suggestions, then I'll let you know about my experience!
Thanks for your advice!
