Pink Flowers
Spring is on the way. I suppose I shouldn't mention that this picture was taken on or around April 3 of last year, and on April 7th, it was snowing . . . but according to the Lisa the Waitress Almanac, which has absolutely no basis in anything scientific whatsoever, and is just a load of "gut feeling," that isn't going to happen this year. Keep your fingers crossed.

I think May 15 is listed as the safe frost-free date, but people seem to be out planting around April 30, every year--even though a late freeze can set those tomatoes back a couple weeks.

I have fingers AND toes crossed - we have a beautiful pink and white flowering crab and a giant hydrangea plant neither of which had a chance to bloom last year. Praying for warmth and no late freezes!!

Oh, speaking of which, for our zone, what's our safe "last frost" date? I can never remember. I should probably just look it up.
