As promised! My aprons from the Apron Gala:
On the right is the glamour apron, from Kristy; Kristy has a small, burgeoning apron-making business and now has a website. This halter-style apron, perfect for buxom babes, features feminine colors and lovely fabric.
On the left is my Ohio apron from Amy D. Amy D makes super cute skirts, tote bags, journals, aprons - all sorts of things. She is the first person to get me to uptown Westerville since the day before my wedding, when my father-in-law's wife treated me to a massage and manicure! Amy D has a boutique inside Java Central, where you can see all her treats for yourself. Amy provided the Ohio Corn Apron and the felt Ohio Corn pin, which you can buy in her boutique and in her Etsy shop. Amy even threw in a wrist band, which I paired with the wrist band I received in my Cbus sampler, and I was stylin. As much as I can be stylin. Which isn't much.
The Ohio love button on the other side of the apron came from another crafty Amy, of Sweet Stella designs. You might remember her from such recent posts as "Update on Artisan Sundays," where I bought one of her cupcake pins. If you received one of these pins from a frizzy-haired girl with a camera around her neck, a beer in one hand and a pile of food in the other, that was me!
Thank you SO much, crafty kids, for your donations. I think I'm going to pass along the love and give these aprons away at my Sunday Supper or something. We'll see how it goes.
