Hi Readers! So much has been happening lately that I hope I am not disappointing you with my lack of recipes and too many giveaways!
Here are a few updates
- I got a press pass for the Bocuse d'Or!!!! This means I received just enough money to exactly cover my travel, car, and hotel! How awesome is that?! That means, my entry to Epcot is covered and I will have close-up seats at the competition. I did buy a telephoto lens, just in case, so I should be able to get some nice closeups. It also means that I will be able to afford a few meals out in Orlando. Thanks for your suggestions! I leave on September 24th!!
- I have had quite a few people respond to adverts, so I will be getting those up and running soon. Anyone who helped send me to the Bocuse will get a free month as a "thank you!"
- I have a new "Contact Me" section on the website.
- The winner of the Carfagna's package is Julie, who was the first person to select #33. Congrats, Julie!!

- Alana's has installed a new bar, so there's no excuse for those of you who think it's too expensive. They have a bar. Go get a $6 glass of wine and an $8 appetizer. Do it soon, please, especially if you have never been.
- Had a great dinner at the Winds the other day. YUM. Go there, too. It's in Yellow Springs. I am thinking of organizing some sort of field trip to the Winds along with maybe the Raptor Rescue or something like that.
- Did you know that on Mondays at Basi Italia you can get a salad, spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, and canolis for $20? Hello?! I'll totally see you there next Monday. How 'bout it?
