Third Giveaway - Lisa's Carfagna's Favorites
Update - seeing as how, at this point, I have 53 entries, let's go up to 100. So from this point forward, please make your entry number from 51 - 100. Repeat numbers at this point will have 50 added to them. So if two people picked 11, the second 11 will now be 61. Cheers!
Okay! I think I have this giveaway thing figured out now. Today's giveaway includes a few of my favorite things from Carfagna's, which is a fabulous Italian grocery store on the NE side. I love Carfagna's. It is an especially good place to shop if, like me, you are a canned tuna snob. Of course, they have lots of other great things, including an extensive deli, packed wine selection, and a great meat case. I was going to throw in a gift card to encourage you to go there, but alas, I forgot to purchase one when I was there the other day...
At any rate, I am sorry about the bad picture, but this package includes (clockwise from upper left): Cruschel whole wheat biscuits (cookie-hating Husband loves these things) - these not-too-sweet cookies are kind of Italy's answer to digestive biscuits, and I highly recommend eating them with some good grappa; papperdelle pasta - just add meat sauce!; Mild Giardiniera in olive oil, which is great on sandwiches, stirred into canned tuna, baked with fish - I love this stuff; Carfagna's Pomodoro Basilico; now to the canned things - something I've heard of but haven't yet tried, Cuoco's "seasoning for macaroni with sardines," doesn't the name just make you want to try it? From what I hear, you stir a pound of cooked pasta into this sauce; canned giant Greek beans into tomato sauce - one of my favorite things to mix with canned trout or tuna and eat after work; 2 cans of Flott tuna in olive oil (once you have tuna in olive oil you'll never go back, I promise) and lastly, a pakage of orecchiette "little ears" pasta.
Okay, good luck! Same as before - chose a number between 1-50. If there are repeat numbers and one of them is drawn, I will add one. This giveaway will close at midnight on Monday night.
