Next Sunday Supper::October 26th!!
I am very happy to announce my next Sunday Supper. Barring another near-catastrophic power outage, such as the one which nixed the September Supper, my October Supper at the North Market Dispatch Kitchen on Sunday, October 26th.
My Chef for this dinner will once again be Seth Warren - you might remember that he was Chef Rosendale's commis (assistant) for the Bocuse d'Or. We began planning our menu last night and I think we have some amazing things in store for you. Although we are planning a pork-heavy menu, there will also be a lot of squash and we could easily accommodate vegetarians, as long as you let me know in advance.
This dinner will celebrate all things autumn! Expect lots of apples, squash and sage (hmmmm). Of course, Husband will be there to offer great wine pairing and a brief education, and I think I've convinced him to bring some hard cider (apple and or/pear - pear is my favorite!!) along for the ride.
I think this will be our best dinner so far and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope to see you there!
Tickets are $52/person, all inclusive, although I will accept tips at the event for my Seth and whoever I wrangle into helping me, who are volunteering their time to keep dinner as reasonable as possible. Tips will NOT go to myself or Husband.
There will be 4-5 courses plus canapes. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are available by clicking on the picture above or here. There is a PayPal store on the right-hand side of the page; please allow a few seconds for the page to load.
Cheers!

Yeah! A supper I can finally attend! Looking forward to it.

Hey Lisa - this comment really has nothing to do with this entry - but I wanted to tell you something after reading your last post on CU.
Your reviews and pictures and entries here have inspired me in so many ways - you see - I can't just go and eat out whenever I want - having 2 kids and living out in the burbs makes it a little more challenging - so I want to be sure that when we do go out, we're getting the most out of the night. Without fail, I look here to see what you've reviewed.
And - you have also inspired me to eat locally. Granted, I'm not nearly as good as you are at it yet - but I'm getting there!! :)
Regardless of the flack you're getting on there - you're a GREAT ambassador of all things fabulous in Columbus - and I appreciate it all.
