Over the next few days, we'll be talking about the 10 things you should absolutely know about cooking (in my humble opinion). I was going to to this as one long post, but I started wrting about salt and I just couldn't stop, so I thought I'd break it apart.
Of course, this list is based only upon my experiences as a home cook.
As a matter of fact, I don't even know what all 10 things are yet. I have about 5 in the works.
If you have something you would like to add, or would like to add a tip, please please don't hesitate to do so!! I love learning new tips. For example, just the other day I learned that if you peel bananas from the bottom up, they won't be stringy. Wonder of wonders. (I'm pretty sure I read that on the very funny Eating My Words, but now I can't find it. Thought I'd throw the link in anyway)
