- In this new climate of "gig work," as I heard it called on NPR last week - basically, this is a great time to be a freelancer - a few comunal office spaces are opening up around town. Basically you pay a low rate by the day or month and get a workspace and all the benefits that go with it - copiers, coffee, a desk - but no pesky boss! I recently learned about Sandbox Columbus and I am super stoked. I haven't seen the space in person yet, but the pictures look beautiful. There is an awesome-looking kitchen and dining room. I plan to rent a desk one day a week - for only $25 a day - and spend the entire day working on all the projects I'm always talking about and never doing! I just think it's a great idea and location, and wanted to let everyone know about it.
