If there's a sadder phrase than "Children's Hospice," I can't think of what it might be. If there's a better cause to support while eating amazing food prepared by some of the best chefs in the country, I can't think of it.
There are loads of fundraisers in Columbus, and lots of them feature food and wine, but by far the best is the Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children's Hospital's Dining with Chefs event which takes place annually at Spagio in Grandview. If you can only afford to do one food-related fundraising event a year, this is the one. Chef Siefert from Spagio personally flies the chefs into Columbus and wines and dines them - the Sunday night dinner the before the event, for the chefs and winemakers only, is the stuff of legend. You can read about last year's event here and here.
Monday February 23 at 6:30 p.m., SPAGIO, 1295 Grandview Avenue in Grandview. Dinner tickets will be $225 per person OR $3,500 for a corporate sponsorship (includes table for 10 plus advertisement in all event materials). Black-tie is optional. To purchase tickets, or additional event information, please contact Nicole Dinsmoor at 614.486.1114, ext. 4 or email ndinsmoor@aol.com. For corporate sponsorship opportunities, please click here.
