We've been talking a lot lately about service in restaurants. Tonight I took this picture while I was waiting for my table at dinner. The streak through the middle of the picture is a server; her face and hands - you can't see the plate of canapes she was carrying, and you can't even see her. Capturing the movement of the server was a total accident, and I didn't use any sort of fancy long exposure, I was actually snapping a picture of the light fixture in the background.
Looking at the picture now, it's a funny example of how things work in a restaurant; people are relaxing, and the server is moving so quickly you can hardly see her.
